Energy Efficient Cookstove operate across various locations in Uganda and Kenya manufacturing and distributing energy-efficient cookstoves to local communities. Its primary objective is to decrease carbon emissions by introducing a more efficient cooking method that minimizes wood consumption, consequently alleviating strain on local forests.
Solar Cooker
Solar cookers are appliance-style contraptions that harness the sun's thermal energy by employing reflective surfaces to concentrate and amplify heat, thus effectively cooking the contents inside. These devices can be assembled using affordable materials, and even the simplest variant known as the box cooker is capable of achieving temperatures of up to 140°C.
